Josephine June Chambers is the titular main protagonist of A Girl Named Jo. She is seen as the Attaway High School outcast in 1963. It's unknown what happened to her after the events of the show.
She is portrayed by Jules LeBlanc.

Jo was born on April 27, 1948 to Thomas "Tommy" Chambers and Frances Chambers. She was seen being bullied in the show, unfortunately, with classmates calling her names.
Personality[]
Jo is seen as being very tomboy-ish, based on the way she dresses and her personality. She is free-spirited and very adventurous. She is also kind-hearted and a feminist. Yet, she is also tough and sarcastic.

Cathy Fitzroy (1963-unknown; best friend)[]
In Come Together, Cathy tries to talk Lawrence and Alice out of making fun of her, but, they ignored her. After Lawrence slaps her book out of her hands and Alice splashes her, Cathy tells them that it wasn't very nice of them.

- After the events of A Girl Named Jo, all is known about Jo is that she left Attaway to travel and occasionally sent Cathy postcards. Her status and whereabouts are unknown.
- It is possible that Jo Chambers might be Heather Masterson from Crown Lake.
- Jo's niece, Nellie, named her son Joseph "Joe" after her.
- Jo's father had taken care of a baby who would grow up to be Randi Roach.
