- In July 2016, she named "Free" as being her favourite solo that she's ever done. She also stated that her favourite group dance is "Hotline" and her favourite duet is "Disconnected."
- In 2015, Addison Moffett and Kalani started their YouTube Channel entitled "KalaniAddy". The two would post new videos on Tuesdays, with the videos tending to focus more on humour than dance. However, in May 2016, all of the videos were suddenly removed from the video as well as the username being changed to "AddyKaylee". On Twitter, Kalani confirmed that she had not given Addison permission to keep the channel for herself and that they initially agreed to let the channel "dissolve." It is believed that the two may no longer be friends.
- In 2011, she was apart of a dance group called "AK squared" along with her studio mates from Club Dance and then auditioned on for the Disney Channel dance competition show of Shake It Up's "Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off" and were placed as the winners.
- Kalani is close friends with Nia Frazier.
