Katherine Eva "Kate" Parker is a main character from the Brat Universe.
Kate is a new girl who moves to the town of Millwood. She has an older brother named Sam Parker. Although she is not actually a witch, she likes to imagine that she is and practices.
She becomes best friends with Cassie Randolph, and develops a crush on Brayden. Kate does not really like Sam, and does not want her friends to date him. She is very supportive of Cassie, and stands up for her against Diana.
She dated Brayden and then broke up with him due to Diana. She got into a fight with Cassie then they made up. Kate named a star after Cassie for her birthday.
The girls fantasize from time to time that they are in their own world. Luca offers to produce a song for Sam. Kate and Sam's ailing aunt Bonnie moves to live with them. After Bonnie dies, Cassie tries to help Sam and Kate cope with the death of their aunt.
Sam and Kate grieve at home for some time, and when they return to school they learn that Luca has taken credit for Sam's song. Then Sam and Cassie also kiss in Juniors coffee shop which he tells Kate about. Kate then confronts Cassie about it and asks her if they will get back together but she says that it was just a ‘thing’.Then she helps Cassie and Diana to take down an evil history teacher. Mr. Lane finally believes the girls and has Ms. Dawson arrested.
Then in the next season she becomes addicted to a writer and become a health freak. She becomes vegan but later she realize that the influencer is fake. Sam leaves to go on tour. He asks Cassie to come with him but she says that she can’t. As he left a note saying he was going to go to the conservatory, but actually was not accepted. Kate becomes worried sick about him and then realize he was on a tour not in the conservatory. Then, at the end of the season, Sam comes back.
Sam was forced to do summer school and blamed Cassie why he has to do it during summer school, he became close with Diana. Despite all that, he eventually finished summer school early, decided to go back on tour and leave Millwood. Kate is very sad seeing Sam leave but she let him go. She also starts Morning Millwood with Morgan. They both also help Junior to boost up his business. Also to make peace between him and Portia.
