Sage Fanburg, also known as Sage Roberts, is a character in Chicken Girls. She used to date Bailey Mazzella.
She is portrayed by Angelie Simone.

Sage's team has had beef with the Attaway Dance Team.
First Appearance[]
In Better Off, Sage walks into Junior's and shows off her competitive nature to Ivy and Poppy, explaining how the Crown Lake dance team was State Champions twice. She says that Ivy would do better at CLA than AHS, and signs up for dance.
Second Appearance[]
Sage returns in Just Your Type, sitting at a booth in Junior's when Bailey comes and sits with her. That's where they meet. It becomes apparent that Bailey has a crush on her, saying that she could tell she'd be "fun to talk to" just by looking at her. Sage introduces herself and assumes she goes to Attaway, which is true. She reveals that she's actually the captain of the CLA dance team, and Bailey thinks that makes them enemies. Sage admits that they don't see Attaway as a good opponent, but tells Bailey not to be offended. Bailey starts to brag about how she's such a good dancer and has the best moves. When she tells her what song they're working on, she's impressed. Bailey decides to ask another question, but warns her that it's personal: if she is single. Sage answers yes. After that, it becomes obvious that Bailey can no longer mask her crush on her, but tries to hide it by saying that she's Ben's type.
Third Appearance[]
Sage walks into Junior's, where she meets Ben. Sage has something very important to tell her, but Bailey interrupts her and introduces her to her brother. Bailey grabs his phone and puts Sage's phone number in it. Sage still really needs to talk to her, alone. Ben walks away. Sage explains that she doesn't have a crush on him and is in fact a lesbian. She only came there to see her. While she hints at her crush on her, Bailey reads her brother's texts to Will, and is not listening at all.

Sage is a very warm and encouraging person who is sensitive to others, but also competitive when it comes to dancing.

Sage is an African-American girl with poufy brown hair. She is often seen wearing a Crown Lake sweater.
Relationships[]
Bailey and Sage briefly dated in Season 10, but after a heated argument, Bailey broke up with her.
