"TV's" is the first episode in the first season of Attaway General, and the first episode overall. It was aired on May 20, 2020.
Synopsis[]
Georgia, Kit, Rosie, and Jack spend their 1st day on the job at Attaway General.
Plot[]
Its a the first day of the T.V. (Teen Volunteer) Program at Attaway General Hospital. Nina is giving a tour to the interns, Georgia, Kit, Jack and Rosie explaining how the T.V. program works and what they will be doing. They are introduced to Nurse Sandy at the front desk who gets an emergency call about a bus crash down town and announces it to the staff, Kit asks what they can do, Nina says that there's nothing they can do, then goes to help with the emergency and leaves Maeve, one of the second year TV's in charge of tour who takes them to the break room.
Maeve tells the interns the responsibilities as first year TVs, then gives them duties for the day. Jack and Rosie are put upstairs to help prepare food for the patients, and Georgia and Kit are put in the shed to find and sterilize all the donated toys. In the shed, Kit mentions that she's wants to make a good impression toward Dr. Henry who she claims is the most brilliant surgeon in the state. Georgia tells her that he is her father, Kit tells her she has no idea how lucky she is to have Dr. Henry as a dad, Georgia is annoyed by this and tells her to leave her alone and scrub in if she wants then Kit leaves the room.
On the floor above, Jack and Rosie are preparing to hand out the food to the patients. Rosie asks Jack why he volunteer to work at a hospital, he responds by saying he was arrested and was put in the T.V. program instead of going to the Juvenile Centre. Rosie says she volunteered to help people, Jack is shocked by this.
Kit arrives in the operation room when a young man named Holden asks her for a doctor. Kit tells him that the hospital is busy due to a huge accident, he tells her that he was in the huge accident and that he was pretty lucky because his condition could have been worse. Kit wraps a gauze bandage around Holden's bleeding arm and tells him to put pressure and cold water on it.
Another T.V. named Will walks in the shed and sees Georgia sleeping, she wakes up and asks him what he's doing. Noticing that she's a new T.V. says that he has work to do and needs to get something, then starts flirting with her. Georgia finds the box with the donated toys and leaves the shed.
As Dr. Henry is performing a test on a young female patient, he calls Kit over to hold her arm down as he sticks a syringe in her. The test goes well, Dr. Henry compliments Kit for helping and introduced himself quickly and leaves.
Georgia walks into the room and sees Jack and Rosie trying to feed a young boy who refuses to eat. She picks out a toy from the box, gets the boy to eat his food and then rewards him with the toy.
As Georgia, Kit, Rosie and Jack are walking down the hall together, Nina comes over to motivates them and gives them Attaway General uniforms with name tags.
